Eat, Spay, LovePosted by Vanessa Rea |
Eat, Spay, Love
(Abandoned Puppies)
I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to exit the rat race early; and lucky enough to find myself living a much more relaxed life with my family on the exquisite and idyllic Island of Bali.
"Our Life and Adventure in Bali" stared out as a personal account of all the strange and interesting events that happened to us on a day to day basis; which was born out of a desperate desire to capture the moment; so that maybe in ten years or so it may jog my old brain cells, and help fill in all memory gaps we so quickly forget as we get older.
I started sharing these jottings with my family and friends; who encouraged me to write more if there was ever radio silence for any length of time. Like a year in Provence I meant to keep it to a year in Bali; however; I cannot resist the temptation to write another few words from time to time, so please be forgiving and endulge me.
And so eventually I get around to why I used "Eat Spay Love" as a title.
BAWA, The Bali Animal Welfare Association is a not-for-profit organization registered in Bali, Indonesia and is dedicated to improving the lives of animals. BAWA's mission is to relieve suffering and overpopulation by providing medical care, spay and neutering, street-feeding and adoption, and by educating children and adults in animal welfare. We heavily rely on the kind efforts of our volunteers and donors - and we need your support.
