 For Lost Brother "GRADY MOTT"

 Hello,

 When you look at the photos - it shows two little boys near a bench. The older (taller) is my older Brother "GRADY MOTT", the smaller boy is of me "Johnny-Bob Mott" 

 The second photo with a single little boy is "GRADY MOTT" with a teddy and your cat.

 Both these photos were taken in Tulare, Calif - and guessing the year to be 1947-1948. 

 We were both Born in Holdenville, Oklahoma, and somehow moved to Tulare at a young age with our Mother. I have no idea what happened to our Father?

 From what I've been told - we were in a County Home in Tulare awaiting adoption.

 My Adoption Parents  took you and wanted to Adopt you, however they were told they could only have you, if they agreed to take me also.  There must have been some time lapse - because at the Signing, our Mother could not let you go, and felt so bad, about me leaving with the Adopted Parents, she wrote a Letter asking them to please take good care of me. I was shown this letter about the time I was Graduating High School.

 The Photo of the both of us, was in Slide form, and when they would show the slides while we were children, and when I always asked who the little boy was, they only responded with "He was just a friend" I used to play with. I was never told you were my Brother until about the time I was married and my First Baby came along. Of course by then, My Adopted Mother was going into surgery for a Brain Tumer, which she did not survive.

 I would very much like to hear from you - and learn about you and your life, and maybe something about our Family and Mother - From what I can remember, she was a very loving Person, and it broke her heart to have to let either of us go, but she had no choice other then let one go, and because I was the youngest, she thought it best I was allowed to be Adopted.
