The Missing Comment
Click on the picture above. You'll get the same results I do when its hyperlinked ! The comment regsiter came up on the 30th and I figured after a while it were a ghost glitch in the WWB system which would disappear.
(Adopts Aleistar Crowley voice) Participant unregistered, are you there ? What were you trying to say to me ?
Or maybe just a glitch.
I stumbled upon something Ben was hinting heavily at a few days ago in his blog entry about searching for people on WikiWorldBooks . The business directory it seems is lined up for participation, and the core of the project. I'd foolishly assumed in my hippy mindset it were for financial sponsors of WWB. Smart WWB users have already made their way there, though not blogged of it.
Directory listings can be created (surprise surprise) just like a Wiki. This is done by clicking on one of the field links eg. businesses, services, organisations and whatever the other. oh, products yeah. As far as I can see, I could be wrong, these may only be edited by the initial creator of the entry. Other users can comment on the entries in the comment facility underneath, their remarks lending an objectivity to the process that way.
Its been somewhat stealthy up until now as the name of the entry creator remains hidden until opening the article page. The comments feature similarly so, as those commented on too bear the hyperlink, 'be the first to comment on this'. I didnt bother to search this until lunchtime, when I decided to give myself a few hours head-start.
This seems like my cue to take another cheap shot at the Beer group. Hows those IP addresses looking flagboys ?
