For the first time in weeks it has rained - just a little. Refreshing and much needed as it is now 30 degrees plus every day.
The swallows and their babies in our stable block are getting ready to leave their nest. We hope the cats don't make a meal of them.
My book (The Crossing) is going great guns. It has climbed on Amazon.co.uk yet again and the publisher is very pleased. Will we become a best seller?? Wouldn't that be exciting!
House renovation continues. It is slow and very tiring in all this heat. But when it's all finished it will be fab!
