Almost OverPosted by Gaille Merrill in Life in Maine |
It's interesting that states south of us are getting slammed with record snowfalls and we haven't had much snow at all. I'm happy with that scenario, I'm not a big fan of snow and cold weather, I much perfer the summer and lying around on the beach.
So here we are nearly half way through February and we can start thinking ahead to Spring!!! Of course we will still have another six weeks or more of cold weather and storms but still that little glimmer of hope is there. We've already gained over an hour of daylight and that is truly delightful. As winter goes this one has been a mild one and that's good for Mainer's trying to heat their homes and deal with tough economic times.
