David and I had a movie night last night after everyone left and the kids went to bed. We watched Dorian Grey. It was really good!  It captured the spirit of Oscar's books.  Very creepy! Oh, but I still have a tiny crush on Colin Firth!

Wonderful lazy Sunday...Starting off with a lovely breakfast of homemade blueberry pancakes, turkey bacon and grapefruit. Sharing with family and friends. I love weekend brunch. Getting ready to celebrate the day of our lord with our church family. Then off to a karate match for the boys!!!!!  

 Enjoying Summer! Our phone starts ringing early...lots of calls from Jacob & Shane's friends wanting to hang out! Keeping us very busy. Sasha personality is so similar to mine. She is very shy until she gets to know them. I know that the friends she makes now she will still be close friends 30 years  from now.

The kids had a wonderful Birthday Party at Bay Area Raceway last weekend... Over 50 people attended! It was so much fun seeing the kids enjoy the day w/friends. So fun seeing  my easy going friends turn into competitive beasts while racing against their spouses. Get your groove on!!!

Still working it at the YMCA!! Last week I wore a tee shirt that had 1987 across it. One of the youth workers in child watch asked if that was the year I was born!!!! Sweet boy!!!! Nice to hear! Anyway, I am working the abs hard! Leaving kids and hubby home next week for a girls weekend river trip on the Comal...Last year we had so much fun. This year there are 12 of us in a rental house with a quest house. With Heather Z from New York cooking I will be living in bliss! Be sure to check out soon to be posted pictures on FB.

As soon as I get back the family & I will be off to Lake Sam Rayburn for a week camping trip! Taking the boat and four wheelers & bikes! Cannot wait to rock the 200 miles of trails. Already rented a canoe for the kiddos and I to explore the canals. 

Yea! My mother's novel is now on Kindle! Recently an ex of mine contacted her via FB. He wrote that he could see similarties between himself and the hero in her novel. Just clueless! Still laughing!
