care homes and decisions (final decisions?) 3

So a busy week in care homes, second stage interview and a nursery.

The nursery was an interesting experience, no salt, sugar or other seasoning's allowed in the kitchen and everything fresh. Great, a bit of a challenge  but finally somewhere looking after our 'vulnerable' members. Apparently the chef the day before had walked out because it was too much to expect someone to cook well without

I think it's so much fun to meet people from all over the world and learn about their country and culture.  I have traveled some in the US but never been to Europe.  There are so many places I would love to visit, especially Ireland because my mother's family was from there.  I've always wanted to go to Greece ever since seeing a Walt Disney movies  called the Moonspinners - it was filmed on

Children Playing in 300AD - Nothing Changes.

This was an eyewitness account in 300AD by a Roman writer, Minucius Felix:-

"Then our party came to a place where several small boats, having been drawn up on the shore, rested above ground on oaken rollers so as to prevent them  rotting.

There we saw a group of small boys, who were eagerly competing with one another in a game of ducks and drakes. This is what it is all about: you choose a

Finding Grandad

I am 18 yrs old and I am hoping to find my real grandad. All I know is that he worked at the spicers railway and that was in the 1960's. He was with my nan Eileen Edwards  in 1964 - 1965. In 1965, she fell pregnant with my mum but he left soon after for reasons unknown. If anyone can help with information or photos it would be really helpful with my search. Thanks.
