About Me

I am from Glasgow, and my early career began at the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research there. After getting married, Frances and I lived and worked in Edinburgh. Graduated from the University of Edinburgh in Mathematics and Statistics. Continued with a career in telecommunications within British Telecom in Edinburgh, and subsequently in London as an IT specialist in application software development for BT's Customer Service Systems project. I have now retired, and spend my time travelling around, walking, cycling, and researching and documenting my family history. Currently living in Surrey, with occasional returns to Scotland to see friends and family. If we have met in the past, please don't hesitate to drop me a message and say hello.
