Michael Bare is a modern day pioneer of the Mystery Shopping Industry. In 1987 he was the co-founder of Bare Associates International (www.bareinternational.com) a firm developing hospitality Mystery Shopping. Today BARE is one of the largest global organizations specializing in Mystery Shopping, Audits and customer service measurement for all industry segments. BARE has it's corporate office in Fairfax, VA, with offices also in Antwerp - Belgium, Mumbai - India, Shanghai & Hong Kong - China, Sao Paulo – Brazil, London – England and our new location in Chile, South America. In 1997, he co-founded of the Mystery Shopping Providers Association, (www.mystery shop.org) now also a global association of similar companies committed to the consistency and quality of the industry. Mike is now on the global association board. Mike also is welcomed in as a member into the prestigious ISHC Group, International Society of Hospitality Consultants (www.ISHC.org), with a specialization in customer service measurement. Always looking for a better way to communicate opportunities, as well revolutionize customer service training, in 2001 Mike added the Video Eyes division, (www.videoeyes.net) which specializes in the use of hidden video for the staff self training. With passions of service evaluation and travel, it's only logical Mike has provided numerous presentations for business and industry worldwide including the most recent conference in Chicago, IL, Excellence in Market Research: Best Practices for Execution. As well articles have been published in numerous trade periodicals and newspapers. Prior to 1987, he was active in the Hospitality Industry, as a chain Regional Director, Owner, and Operations Director. Married for 25 years to co-founder Dale Bare, he is father of one son, Jason, who is a recent college graduate and resides in Virginia.
