About Me

My name is Jonathan. I am married to a lovely girl called Wendy, and we live in England with our children in a big old house that we fight with continually. We lurch from day to day in a state closely resembling total chaos, and somehow live to tell the tale. In the daytime (away from the mayhem) I am a software developer. While it sounds clever, in reality it means I spend most of the time banging my head against a brick wall. I continually struggle to learn all manner of products and technologies emanating from Redmond that clients presume I am already an expert at, and feel like a bigger fake with each year that passes. Away from work I do freelance web design and development to make a few extra pennies here and there. Blog themes seem to have become something of a speciality, with several friends arm twisting me into beautifying their online journal.
