Jim was the 2009 President of the Anderson/Madison County Association of Realtors (AMCAR) and 2007 Chair of the Indiana Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee. Named the AMCAR "Realtor of the Year" for 2009, Jim was also the 2007 recipient of the AMCAR "Distinguished Service Award." In 2008 he was appointed an At-Large member of the prestigious National Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee. A "Certified Realty U Instructor," Jim teaches pre-license courses for the Real Estate Certification Program (RECP) and state-wide Professional Standards Seminars for the Indiana Association of Realtors. A part owner of RE/MAX Real Estate Groups with three offices in Indianapolis, Anderson and Muncie, Indiana, Mr. Bittner and his partners were named "Broker/Owners of the Year" for 2007 by RE/MAX of Indiana.
