About Me

I joined the team at WDVX in September 2008. Prior to coming to WDVX, I was the Director of Government Business Development for Seven-Star, Inc- world leaders in environmentally sensitive event production. I have also worked for the United States Department of the Interior’s National Business Center Acquisition Services Directorate, the Internal Revenue Service, the City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation Department and the University of Tennessee’s Energy, Environment, and Resources Center. In 2004, I was chosen for the prestigious and highly competitive federal Presidential Management Fellows program. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sociology and Political Science as well as a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in environmental policy analysis from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. At WDVX, I handle all aspects of fundraising and communications, including donor cultivation, grant writing, fund drive coordination, premium fulfillment, direct solicitation, public relations and special events.
