Artist and Writer
I am a self taught outsider artist. My artworks range from landscapes and seascapes to modern pieces. Painting for me is an escape from daily life it allows me a medium to express myself without use of words. As someone who is self taught, I learn by visiting various galleries showing living contemporary artists. Most importantly by visiting museums which allows me to study the masters. I pay homage to some of these great "teachers" by creating works using my research of their works and style from my viewpoint such as "Pandemonium" a tribute to Jackson Pollock; "Rembering Rothko" honoring Mark Rothko and "Several Circles more 4 Kandinsky" a study of Vasily Kandinsky's "Several Circles, JANUARY-FEBRUARY 1926.
Life is a constant "Work in Progress."
