Promoting the power of logistics to transform business efficiency. Long country walks, lifting pints (real ale), history, economics, popular science.
A journalist since 1961, I began writing on the former British West Indies for the monthly trade journal, West Indies Chronicle, until 1973, during which I also wrote for the Toronto-based Caribbean Business News. In 1979 I became an editor on Britain's leading monthly trade journal for logistics, Materials Handling News. I set up my own business, Logistics Editorial Services, in 1993, acting as a press agent for leading materials handling companies while also writing freelance for such journals as Logistics Europe, Logistician, Works Management, Distribution Magazine, Storage Handling & Distribution, Middle East Technical Review, Asian Review of Business & Technology, Warehouse & Logistics News and Materials Handling News. During that time, I co-authored the book, Logistics Manager, published by Croner, London, 1995.
To leave the world a better place than I found it.
