Junior Nathaniel Small is a fine art photographer artist. His interest in photography began in his formative years as a child, whilst spending some time in Sacred Heart Convent children’s home. This environment would help him hone some of his many talents. Junior graduated from the University of the Arts London and left with a BA (Hons) Degree in Digital Media Design. His dissertation was a critical analysis of our emotive response to colour, CVERT: Colour Vision Emotive Response Test. The final major project was the result of his findings. The Emit II Collection a series of prints was designed to intrigue and engage the viewer through the vista in the images. The aim is to trigger a provocative and emotive response to the colour. Some of his works are reminiscent of expressionist, impressionist, surrealist & romanticist movements. The success of the end of year show led to his work being curated by University of the Arts London: UAL for an extended show the 'Best of Show'
