About Me

I spent 42 years in the Military, serving in various countries, including many years with the UN in the Middle East. Of French ancestry, I hold UK & Canadian Citizenship. I am divorced with four adult children, ( 1 son & 3 daughters.) I unexpectedly acquired my titles of Marquis of Clairan and Baron St. Aubin in September of 2008. It took time to get used to that, but otherwise my life goes on as usual.

Life Philosophy

I am a believing Christian ( Roman Catholic ) My family motto is " Dictum meum Pactum " ( 'My Word is my Bond ' ) and I believe that integrity in both business and personal relationships is essential. In 'Hamlet' Shakespeare had Polonius say " To thine own self be true. And it must follow as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man." Good advice, which I try to follow.
