In the branding jungle, Evan has created and communicated for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Bacardi, Purina, Nestlé, Claritin, American Express, The TriBeCa Film Festival, NASCAR, Tumi, The Financial Times, Liz Claiborne, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Davidoff, and Renaissance Resorts and Hotels, among others. He has experience as a Copywriter, Creative Director, and Strategic Planner at several IPG, WPP, and independent advertising agencies. Evan began his career in the Literary Department at International Creative Management (ICM) and as a script reader for director Alan Pakula. While a Creative Director at branding agency Avrett Free + Ginsberg, Evan founded his own production company and produced theatrically released independent films starring Rosario Dawson (Descent and This Revolution), and Vincent D’Onofrio (Good Luck). He worked with Academy Award winning cinematographer Janusz Kaminski on Grim Prairie Tales. In 2006, he helped create a show for HGTV starring Todd Oldham. Evan studied writing and film making with Terry Southern, who taught him what he tries to practice today: When you work with great people and tell a great story, you can do great things.
