Born in Germany January 14, 1906 as Emil Rudolph Lemanski, immigrated to the US in 1926 and became known as Emil Rudolph Piehl. Served in the US Army starting approximately 1944. I can find no records of Mr. Piehl after 1948. I have personal papers belonging to Mr. Piehl and I would like to return them to his family if anyone is out there.
